Gighit is a social network based around bands and promoters promoting their events. The end result being to encourage people to get up and go out to gigs and (re)discover live music.
Gighit was a concept born in the pub, or there-abouts way back when in 2006. After a year or so of being messed around by development companies the project was taken in house at Caffeinehit Ltd. The brainchild of Andy Ashburner and coded by the Stunt Coder, Alen at Caffeinehit Towers.
If you register it allows you to tap into your other social networks, pulling in all of your favourite goodness. When we know the sort of things you love we can start suggesting things you love and things you don't know you love (yet). You can share stuff with your friends, add: bands, venues, clubnights, record labels, gigs and loads of other stuff.
